The lower 2 panels in the die for this Coroners Service badge are blank. If the engraved lettering Odontologist and LSC are to match the lettering on the top panels of the badge, the letters must be machine engraved prior to doming or finishing the badge.
The black color fill highlights the lettering and the polished Coat of Arms in the center. The pebbled background provides contrast with edge and raised polished panels.
