Highways Pin and AWG Games Medal: The promotional lapel pin for NWT Highways featured their logo in three colors. The raised metal surfaces were polished and gold plated. The 2 5/8" wide Arctic Winter Games medal is patterned after an Ulu, which is the traditional Eskimo knife. The cutting surface of an Ulu is the lower edge. To give the medal more of the character of an actual Ulu, we bevel the lower curved edge.
