The Design: The design is the Vancouver Numismatic Society logo. When we cut this die in the 1960's, it was important the bridge and twin mountain peaks be recognizable as they were (and still are) landmarks in the Vancouver area. Hand finishing of the antiqued copper highlights the sculpted detail. The Medal: - Copper - 1 ½" diameter x .094" thick - Lightly darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
