The Design: We assisted the Moncton Coin Club in refining their design concept. We were given the idea, photographs of the tower, and the text required on the medal. From this information, we prepared a sketch for approval, that included the text layout and the fonts. Hand finishing of the antiqued silver plating highlight the sculpted detail. The Medal: - Copper - 1 ½" diameter x .094" thick - Silver plate - Lightly darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
