The Design: Designed by Nick Myschuk of Wildwood Alberta, this Ruffed Grouse medal was #6 in the Chip Lake Trade Dollar series. We were provided with finished artwork, but pictures from the library were also needed to sculpt the grouse. Hand finishing of the antiqued copper highlights the sculpted detail. The Medal: - Copper - 1 ½" diameter x .094" thick - Smooth edge - Darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
