The Design: This medal features the Atlantic Provinces Numismatic Association crest. Flat patterns were used to cut this die. The sculpted elements were hand carved directly into the steel die. Hand finishing of the antiqued bronze highlights the sculpted detail. The Medal: - Bronze - 1 ½" diameter x .094" thick - Smooth edge - Darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
