The Design: A historical print was used as artwork for the sculpted 3-D image of this baptismal scene. A second modeled pattern was prepared for the shield to the left of the figures. Hand finishing accentuates the sculpted shapes and raised lettering. The Medal: - Brass - 2" diameter x 1/8" thick - Darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
