Cap Badge: This is a Canadian Armed Forces regimental badge. This is an example of a very deep die striking from a single piece of brass. To achieve the soft satin finish, the brass was sandblasted and scratch brushed prior to gold plating. The badge was sprayed with a clear lacquer to protect the 24K gold plating.
