Lapel Pin: The Salmonid pin was manufactured for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. The pin is a brass die striking, trimmed to the shape of the design. The details are "pushed into" the polished surface of the pin and darkened prior to polishing. The polished brass finish is protected with a clear lacquer.
