The Design: The horse and rider as well as the end of the belt and the buckle on this equestrian medal were sculpted in deep relief. The loop soldered to the top of the medal is for attaching a jump ring and ribbon. The lightly oxidized silver plated finish highlights the shape and detail. The Medal: - Copper - 2" diameter x 1/8" thick - Silver plated - Lightly darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
