The Design: This B.C. Hydro 25 year medal has a frosted and polished nickel plated finish. To achieve this effect, the minted medal is first sandblasted. The highlights and edge are then hand polished and the medal is nickel plated. The Medal: - Copper - 1 ½" diameter x .094" thick - Sandblasted background - Polished raised areas - Nickel plated
