The Design: An artist and member of the Vancouver Orchid Society prepared a sketch of this orchid. It was important that when he gave us the sketch, he took the time to describe in detail, which shapes of the several parts were most important. Hand finishing accentuates the sculpted shapes and raised lettering. The Medal: - Copper - 2" diameter x 1/8" thick - Darkened (oxidized) background - Highlighted raised areas
